Position Summary & Description
- Greets distillery visitors and handles incoming phone calls, directing callers appropriately and responding regarding St. George products, tasting/tour requests, etc.
- Tracks and orders office, kitchen, warehouse, and shipping supplies.
- Runs occasional local errands.
- Performs occasional hospitality duties (preparing coffee, buying food, assisting with employee party planning, and setting up the conference room).
- Assists with additional production, sales, operations, tasting room, and communication needs.
- Provides support for Brand Ambassador program.
- Manages the safety program, ensuring employee certifications are current.
- Oversees and maintains office equipment and handles basic kitchen maintenance.
- Assists the Accounting Manager as needed.
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the President and Vice President, such as scheduling meetings, appointments, and booking travel.
- Provides HR support, including ensuring harassment prevention training is current, assisting with new hire paperwork and onboarding, and coordinating the annual evaluation process with managers.

- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and record-keeping systems
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Basic math and basic accounting skills
- Ability to type accurately – 40 wpm
- Experience with XERO is a plus
- Canva experience is a plus
Minimum Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of administrative experience.
- Because some tasks require the ability to drive, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record in order to run occasional errands
- Occasional driving is required in order to complete tasks

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work hours are generally 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The St. George Spirits office is in Alameda, California. Occasional local travel is required. Work is performed in an indoor setting including: an office environment that includes operation of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and calculators. Work in the office requires frequently remaining in a stationary position, operating a computer and other standard office equipment, conversing by telephone and in person, and near and far visual acuity for expansive reading, computer operation, and editing of documents. Office work requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
